- Derivation of I-V relation for a PN Junction Diode

               1. Derive the diode current equation for a finite length
                  PN junction diode. Assume the abrupt junction is at x=0,
                  P-region reaches to -L and N-region L.

               2. Express the above equation as Eq. 7.27 in Fonstad
                  and determine wp* and wn*.

               3. When  L is much larger than Le and Lh, what are the limiting values of wp* and wn*?

               4. When  L is much smaller than Le and Lh, what are the limiting values of wp* and wn*?
